No, I would not recommend this. Since honey is not pasteurized or sterilized, it can pose a health risk to very young children by potentially exposing them to botulism spores.

how do I use honey on my hair, and why is honey good for the hair?

Mix it up into a hair mask along with avocado and coconut oil, or use it to smooth down flyaways or split ends. Honey is moisturizing for your hair and smells lovely.

  • Question
How does honey help when it's sticky?
    Cecilia Flores

The consistency of a product shouldn't affect how it works. You may not like the consistency, but if it works, it works. Honey helps fade scars, moisturizes, gently exfoliates, and makes hair shiny.
    Thanks!

It moisturizes hair, making it break and snap less often, and makes it shiny, but beyond this, doesn't help with hair loss.
    Thanks!

  • This is not recommended for regular showering routine.

For soft, smooth skin, slather on some good quality honey while your skin is still wet and massage in. Honey is packed with trace elements that nourish your skin.

  • Make your honey bath, and soak for 10 to 20 minutes. Take a quick shower to rinse your body.
  • Avoid soaking your hair in the mixture. Honey can be great for moisturizing hair, but salt is not good for it. Add honey to your conditioner if you want to use it on your hair.
